after reading stormbird85 post I realized I wanted to read something a bit similarity, I don't think it's the same, but if it is, please tell me.

Draco has moved to America and works at a café(I think), Harry goes there to take him back to the ministry. Draco doesn't remember Harry(not sure about this).

so I know there was this fic and there was a sequel that tells us what happened before all this and why it ended up like it did. Draco helped Harry and Ron to kill Voldemort, but none(?) of them remember how it happened, and then it turns out Draco killed him, and hid him or something. I think it all happpened in the basement of Malfoy Mansion.

A couple more questions

1. If T: H-->K has finite rank, then T*:K-->H has finite rank and dim(Im(T)) = dim(Im(T*)).

I'm not really sure how to approach this.. =/

2. Show that an idempotent operator is compact if and only if it has finite rank.

The "only if" is quite easy, because any finite rank operator is compact, but the other direction has me stuck

Hi guys! I just had a disaster - lost all my bookmarks!

I've found almost all of the ones I'm missing (thanks to Google and people's rec lists and stuff) but there's this one fic I can't find! I don't remember the title or author, otherwise I'd just Google search it.

Here's what it was about -

It was written post-HBP but pre-DH. Harry works for the ministry but they don't let him do much besides paperwork cause he's really fragile after so many people died in the war. He has a muggle roommate with red hair or something, I think his name was Adam? And Adam has amnesia, but writes these really funny lists about things as he tries to figure his life out. And he and Harry kind of come together and Harry starts living again and it's really sweet! But Harry also has these haunted memory dreams where he's back at Grimmauld during the Horcrux hunt and Draco Malfoy is there as a prisoner of war, and those scenes are really beautiful and strong and heartbreaking, and we find out that Draco died during the last battle, but Harry tried to save him and failed, which is why he's all messed up now? And then at the end there's this HUGE CRAZY twist and you're like WHOA OH MAN, NO WAY. And it's awesome!

PLEASE tell me someone knows this fic?!

You know, for someone who took me to Paris for four beautiful summer days, for someone who kissed me on the Pont-Neuf while the sun set, you're failing pretty badly at romanticism right now.

I get that it's hard. I get why you might not think it's worth it. I know you're seriously hurting over there without me and it hurts me too, I can tell you. But those two weeks in April will arrive, I promise you, and they will be beautiful. Painfully, destructively beautiful, but beautiful. Beautiful like it used to be. Beautiful like our relationship is. Or could be, if you could just LET it be. We were so spontaneous, so wild and free. When did this rationality set in?
